In this groundbreaking event, Anna blends her jazz-infused original songs with Indonesian lyrics and catchy pop melodies, expanding musical horizons. Ever heard an Indonesian rendition of Antihero by Taylor Swift — especially one performed by a foreign artist? Experience cultures merging in a unique and heartfelt performance as Anna Anderluh combines music with humorous anecdotes and poignant reflections on all things Austrian and Indonesian.

Titled “A Strudel of Cultures and Music,” the solo concert will take place on Thursday, January 16, 2025, at 19:00 WIB at the Austrian Embassy in Jakarta. The term “Strudel” holds dual meanings in Austrian culture — it refers to both, insidious ocean swirls that pull objects beneath the surface — and a beloved pastry filled with sweet or savory delights. In Anna’s hands, this metaphorical Strudel is filled with rich and syrupy Indonesian-Austrian songs and stories, promising an unforgettable evening.
